David J. Raimondo, Esq.

David J. Raimondo is a lifelong Long Islander who has represented injured individuals and families throughout New York for more than 36 years. Since his admission to the New York Bar in 1990, he has built his practice on determined advocacy, personal attention, and professional integrity.

Throughout his career, Mr. Raimondo has achieved substantial results for thousands of clients in Suffolk County and Nassau County, New York City, and across the State of New York. His practice encompasses motor-vehicle and trucking accidents, construction-site injuries, medical malpractice, defective products, premises liability, and complex wrongful-death claims. In every case, he strives to obtain the maximum compensation available while providing each client with responsive, individualized representation.

Mr. Raimondo’s work extends beyond traditional personal-injury litigation. He served as lead counsel in the landmark challenge to unlawful administrative fees imposed through Suffolk County’s red-light-camera program. In McGrath v. Suffolk County, the Appellate Division, Second Department, affirmed that the additional fees exceeded the limits established by New York law. After nearly a decade of litigation, Mr. Raimondo and co-counsel negotiated a proposed settlement establishing a fund of up to $45 million dollars for reimbursement of affected motorists, plus interest. He also continues to represent motorists challenging an identical fact pattern in Nassau County.

Mr. Raimondo earned his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York College at Brockport in 1983 and his Juris Doctor from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1987. He holds an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest level of professional excellence recognized through its peer-review process.

He is admitted to practice in New York and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. His professional memberships include the Suffolk County Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.
